How it works

Concepts that click. Practice that sticks. Confidence you can see.

Three quiet pieces working together. Your child sees lessons they want to come back to — you see exactly what they’ve mastered and what still needs work.

01 · Learn

Build confidence with concepts that click

Questions come with interactive visuals that do the explaining — drag the corners, tap the bars, slide the markers. Topics stop feeling abstract and confusing, and start to click.

60°60°60°

Sum: 60° + 60° + 60° = ?

Watch the angles update as the corner moves.

02 · Practice

Help your child remember what they learned

Topics resurface at exactly the right moment to lock the learning in — fresh material when they're ready, gentle reviews before they forget, more time on weak spots. They build confidence without feeling overwhelmed.

What lessons actually look like

Nothing like a worksheet.

Every question comes with a hand-built interactive visual. Your child sees the idea, not just the words — and the maths starts to click.

Questions

Things parents tend to ask first.

How does this compare to a private tutor?

A tutor typically costs £40-60 per hour (£160-240+ per month for one weekly session). Ignite is £19.99/month for daily practice across the entire syllabus, plus a parent dashboard so you can see exactly what's working. Many families use both — a tutor for the human encouragement and weekly check-in, Ignite for the daily 10 minutes between sessions. They complement each other rather than compete.

How does Ignite compare to other 11+ apps (Atom, CGP, etc.)?

The biggest difference is feel: every Ignite question is hand-authored with a custom interactive visual, so concepts click rather than feel like a worksheet on a screen. Other apps lean heavily on flashcards or algorithm-generated questions; we deliberately don't. The spaced-repetition engine sits quietly underneath so the right topic comes back at the right moment — without your child noticing the maths behind it. Try the 7-day trial alongside whatever you're already using and see how your child responds.

Won't more screen time make things worse?

We thought about this carefully. Ignite is built for ten focused minutes a day — no ads, no notifications competing for attention, no autoplay sucking them in. The session ends when the lesson ends. That's a different kind of screen time to YouTube or social media, and most parents find it actively reduces overall screen time because it satisfies the kid's wanting-something-on-the-iPad urge with something productive.

My child already uses a workbook (or has a tutor). Do they need this too?

Probably not as a replacement — Ignite is designed to add the missing piece most prep plans lack: daily, low-friction practice that actually gets done. Workbooks rely on you setting time aside and your child not pushing back. Tutors meet weekly. Ignite fills the in-between with ten-minute sessions that feel like a game. Try the trial alongside what you're doing — if it doesn't add value, the trial costs you nothing.

What if it doesn't work for us?

The 7-day trial requires no card and no commitment — if Ignite isn't right for your child, you simply don't subscribe and nothing is charged. After subscribing, you can cancel anytime from your dashboard with one tap; you keep access until the end of the period and your child's progress is preserved if you ever come back. Full refund policy at /refund.

When should we start using Ignite?

Most parents start 6-12 months before the exam, but earlier is better — the spaced-repetition timing works best with longer gaps between first-learn and review. If your child is in Year 4 or early Year 5, you've got time to build the habit calmly. If exams are 3 months away, daily practice still helps — focus shifts to consolidating weak spots rather than fresh material.

What about English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning?

Maths is our launch focus, but English, VR, and NVR packs are actively being built — they're next up. Anyone who subscribes during the Maths-only period gets every future pack added to their account at no extra cost, locked in at today's price. New customers will pay more once those packs launch, so subscribing now is genuinely the most cost-effective time to come on board. If you'd like early access to drafts as they take shape, drop us a line at hello@ignitelearning.ai.

Do you offer mock exams?

Mock exams are part of the next phase — full timed practice papers for both GL Assessment and CEM styles. Same as the new subject packs: anyone subscribed during the Maths-only launch period gets mocks added at no extra cost when they ship, at today's price. Email hello@ignitelearning.ai if you'd like to be first to try the early drafts.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

Your trial ends and the lesson surface locks until you subscribe. We don't auto-charge — there's no card on file unless you've added one. You'll get a couple of gentle email reminders before the trial ends so nothing is a surprise. Your child's progress is saved if you decide to subscribe later.

Can my child use it on any device?

Yes. Ignite is a web app — it works on any modern phone, tablet, or laptop with a browser. No app store install needed. We've designed it to feel native on tablets, which is what most kids reach for.

Does it cover both GL Assessment and CEM papers?

Yes. The curriculum was written specifically for the UK 11+ and aligns with both major paper styles. Your child gets the full breadth either way; the spaced-repetition engine adapts to where they need most work.

Can I add more than one child?

Yes — up to four children on a single subscription, each with their own avatar, progress, and dashboard view. Useful for families with siblings going through 11+ in different years.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. One tap from your dashboard. You keep access until the end of your billing period — no early-cancel charges, no scripts, no friction.

Anything else? Email us at hello@ignitelearning.ai — we read every message.
